In our world today, all information we value the most are stored in our computers. When our computer crashes permanently, we lose all our files which could be a very depressing state to be in. However, there is now a simple way to prevent your data from being lost. Here is some information regarding online storage.

Digital storage companies provide a means of security to computer users all over the world by duplicating their files and storing them on a password-protected site that the user alone can access. The beauty of this is when computers crash and we need to retrieve our files, everything are safely backed up. Fortunately, this is what online storage can provide.

Some people don’t see the importance of online storage but if you think about it, you wouldn’t want to lose your pictures, videos, word files, power point documents, and all the programs that you spent lots of times just because your computer “died”.

You do not need to be a geek to figure this out. They even have tutorials for you to follow.

As you know, it may take some time to complete the process especially if the size of your data is huge. Do not be troubled because while this procedure is ongoing, you can still use your computer with no one bothering you.

Looking After Your PC

We have an old joke I remember! One woman purchased a computer and she calls up customer service and says that she actually is following instructions but can’t get her computer to power on! On further querying from the customer service guy the woman says that she has inserted a clean and uninfected disk to start up the computer. She says that she also took the trouble of washing the disk with a disinfectant soap before inserting it in the computer!

Obviously this may be going too far, and it is a tale that is eons old in computer years! In all fairness and in keeping up with the times, let’s be gender neutral and say that this might have happened to a man as well!

The fact is that if you need to keep your computer in running shape it’s not a funny business! It’s dead serious just because a PC is definitely an investment not only when it comes to hardware nevertheless, you also stand to lose crucial computer data and files in case you don’t take care of your personal computer.

Let’s take the issue head-on and see what we should do to look after a PC

1. Consider purchasing a legal copy of an anti-virus anti-malware solution in case your PC doesn’t come pre-loaded with one. This will keep your PC running trouble free and make it less prone to crashing. It will likewise make your surfing experience much safer.

2. Defrag Often! Defragmenting your computer’s hard drive is something the same as taking up files, papers, and stuff on your own desk and keeping it neatly organized to enable you to access it easily and quickly!
