Repairing A Toshiba Laptop Screen
Hiring a laptop technician to repair a cracked or malfunctioning Toshiba laptop screen is fairly costly. Luckily, this is a very simple do-it-yourself venture you could do even if you are not a technical expert. This will eliminate the expense of shipping your laptop to the repair company and for the actual repairs. Gather a Phillips screwdriver, a knife, a cup and a replacement Toshiba laptop screen and follow the steps below to get started.
It takes less than 30 minutes to complete this whole venture. First, shut down your computer and disconnect the battery. Second, take note of the frame surrounding the laptop’s display. This frame is being held in place with screws. Look closely and you will notice that you can find screw covers hiding the screws themselves. Carefully using the tip of a knife, lift the screw covers. Use your Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screws. Set the screws and also the screw covers within your cup.
The third step is to get rid of the frame. Basically lift the frame away from the laptop. Next, unplug the inverter cable through the inverter. Access the inverter at the bottom of the screen. The fifth step involves removing the rest of the screws that’s holding the screen in its place. You’ll need your Phillips screwdriver once again to complete this task. Do not neglect to put the screws in your cup.
Then, take away the broken laptop display. Slide your replacement laptop screen into the laptop and plug in the inverter cable. Replace the screws that were holding the display screen in place.
Get the laptop’s frame and set it over the new replacement screen. Tighten the screws with your screwdriver and place the screw covers back over the screws. Next, put your battery back in again and turn on your laptop to see how your new Toshiba laptop screen looks.
